What is the ADHD-OS™ Assessment?
The ADHD-OS™ Assessment helps families answer the question, “What’s next?”
Across two sessions, you’ll work with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to map your child’s attention profile, identify strengths and challenges, and receive a personalized roadmap with strategies you can start using right away.
This is a functional assessment and planning session, not a medical diagnosis. It’s designed to turn patterns into practical supports for home and school.
If you prefer to get a formal diagnosis first, we can connect you with trusted providers and integrate those results into your plan.
How it works
Step One
Parent Intake
60 minutes
You’ll meet one-on-one with our BCBA to review parent rating scales and discuss your child’s story. Together, you’ll explore strengths, challenges, and family goals to define what success looks like for your child.
What happens:
-
Review rating scales and developmental history
-
Discuss strengths, challenges, and priorities
-
Identify focus areas for your child’s plan
Step Two
Roadmap Session
60-90 minutes
In this session, you’ll receive your personalized ADHD-OS™ Report and Roadmap. We’ll walk through your child’s attention profile, highlight key takeaways, and outline practical strategies you can begin using right away at home and at school.
What happens:
-
Review ADHD subtypes and attention patterns
-
Walk through your customized report and roadmap
-
Discuss personalized recommendations and next steps
Step 3
Implement Roadmap
6 months
You’ll leave with a clear plan and options for next steps. You can use your plan independently or continue with Unlockt for additional support through:
-
Parent coaching for ongoing support
-
Youth or Teen Program for structured skill-building
-
Brain Arcade™ Tools for personalized cognitive training
We’ll outline each option so you can choose what feels right for your family.

Assessment is Different

Most assessments just tell you what’s happening. The ADHD-OS™ Assessment helps you understand what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what to do next.
Our approach goes beyond checklists or test scores. It’s about giving families clear, compassionate insight and a plan that actually fits real life.
Here’s what makes our assessment different:
-
Strengths-based: We start with what’s working to build on existing success.
-
Family-centered: Parents are active partners, and your perspective drives the process.
-
Action-oriented: You’ll leave with practical next steps you can use right away.
-
Translational: We turn insight into everyday tools that work at home and school.
-
Expert-led: Conducted by a BCBA with extensive experience in attention, focus, and self-regulation.
-
School-ready: Includes clear language you can share with teachers and use in 504 or IEP meetings.
