PONTE VEDRA, Florida (August 13, 2024) – Raghu Misra, a visionary entrepreneur and founder of Unlockt™, recognized the need for a comprehensive approach to support children and adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). He brought Eva Luther on board as a co-founder to create a program that offers a holistic and multi-faceted intervention strategy. Unlockt™ is designed to empower families and help children unlock their full potential through a variety of innovative and research-backed methods.
Located at The Link, in Nocatee, Unlockt™ is now open and accepting new clients. The program provides a supportive environment where children with ADHD can explore their unique abilities. It emphasizes the importance of understanding and supporting the entire family unit, offering personalized coaching and resources for both parents and children. The Unlockt™ Youth Program, tailored for children ages 5 to 17, includes personalized parent coaching to provide parents with the skills and strategies needed to enhance communication, emotional regulation and behavior management. The program features the Brain Arcade™, a high-tech facility where children engage in fun, skill-building activities that improve focus, attention, and self-regulation skills. Additionally, an app provides families with reminders, activities, tips, and real-time chat to maintain progress between sessions. Eva Luther is a local Nocatee mom who has first-hand experience raising a child with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She recognized many families don’t understand ADHD or even face misdiagnoses as her daughter did. This inspired her to leap into action. As a highly skilled Behavioral Consultant, Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and Certified Special Education Teacher with 30 years of experience, Eva knew she wasn’t the only parent fighting to help their child understand their diagnosis and how to unlock their true potential.
Unlockt™ offers a nurturing space for children with ADHD to discover their unique strengths," says Luther, Co-Founder and Program Director. "We focus on empowering both the child and their family through tailored coaching and resources, ensuring a supportive environment for growth and understanding.
Raghu, a self-diagnosed ADHDer, has a very personal interest in Unlockt™’s mission due to his son’s diagnosis of Sensory Processing Disorder at the age of 6. Since then, he has dedicated his life to researching and identifying technologies and non-medical interventions to assist in identifying and treating mental health conditions that have “Attention” as an important characteristic.
In the one-of-a-kind Brain Arcade™, children can engage in brain-boosting and game-driven activities, ranging from vision training to Brain Computer Interface (BCI) based memory-increasing cognitive exercises to physical activities that help children manage energy levels and improve self-regulation. Through fun skill-building activities and high-tech research backed tools at the Brain Arcade™, the program helps children develop their own operating systems and empowers them to succeed at home, in school, socially, and within the community. “We are creating a technology platform paired with a series of in-person and remote services to help all children and adults who are part of the ecosystem of ADHDers,” says Misra. “As parents, coaches, teachers, and school administrators, we need to be cognizant of the unique superpowers each child has because their brains are truly incredible. We recognize that it’s critical to help the child’s entire ecosystem, not just the child.”
